In most cases, gratuities are not included unless otherwise indicated during the registration process. The only exception is when a meal is included in the package. In that case, Express Tours will pay the gratuity in advance based on an agreement with the restaurant.

  • For other aspects of the trip, gratuities are not included, and students should plan to have small amounts of cash available to tip staff who provide services.
  • For the driver and guide, it is generally recommended to tip $1 to $2 per passenger per day. We can include gratuities in the package if you prefer and if this makes things easier for you.

Otherwise, here are some suggested gratuities:

  • Hotel housekeeping: $1 per person, per day
  • Local guide for a city tour or guided visit: $1 per person
  • Restaurant meal: 18% of the bill
  • Taxis: 15% to 20% of the fare

“Tailgate” is an American term that refers to a gathering of people enjoying food, BBQ and drinks around the back of a pickup truck—the “tailgate” of the truck!

For NFL football, tailgating brings thousands of fans together in the stadium parking lot, often arriving up to five hours before the game. BBQs, promotional tents and music create an unforgettable atmosphere where the biggest fans can show their team pride.

At Express Tours, it’s part of our signature experience! We host a lively pre-game tailgate featuring music, giveaways, friendly competitions, food cooked on our five-foot-long BBQs and plenty of memorable moments. If you’ve never experienced a tailgate, you’re in for a treat!

We always have extra drinks available for purchase at a lower cost than at the stadium.

All printed tickets will be distributed on the coach. Electronic tickets will be sent to you by email so you can access them directly on your smartphone. Please note that some stadiums only accept electronic tickets.

Game tickets are electronic tickets that will be transferred to you by email a few days before departure. You must have an account with the ticketing platform (e.g., Ticketmaster) using the same email address associated with your booking. Instructions for accepting your tickets will be sent to you by email approximately two weeks before departure.

Two (2) weeks before departure, you will receive your travel documents, along with confirmation of your departure time and location.

Stops are planned along the way for bathroom breaks and meals, depending on the length of the trip.

When checking in at the hotel, the trip guide will pick up the room keys from the front desk and distribute them to the group.

There is no minimum age to participate. However, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and some packages may include alcoholic beverages, for example during tailgates. Please also note that sports trip itineraries can be quite demanding, so these trips are not recommended for young children.
